Our Carburetor Heat Insulating Spacers and Bowl Shields are made of an Aero-Space Engineered Material that minimizes the Engine to Carburetor thermal transfer “Heat Soak” and the associated Negative Effects caused by the lower boiling point temperatures of today's gasoline blends... and believe us, it is not just the ethanols in most fuels today that are causing these problems.
Each of our Carb Spacers & Bowl Shields have been designed to be used Individually or in stacked "Paired Units" for even greater insulating properties. *While our 1/4" insulators works great, If your hood clearance will allow, we do recommend that each carburetor use a 1/2" Thick "Paired Unit".
